There were so many things wrong with this motel but I gave it two stars for the Customer Service effort from the staff. They were friendly and very accommodating. As for the room, it was less than exceptional. As you can see from the photos, the shower bath was disgusting. The knob to turn the shower hot or cold did not work and I had to pry it several times to get the right temperature. And when it did work, the water clogged. I had to wash my feet several times after I took a shower just to take the soot out of my body. It was very disgusting. As for the bed, the covers were dirty, filthy and smelled. And the water! Oh my! It tasted like rust! Again, very disgusting. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room and upon entering, I immediately smelled smoke.
If they want anyone to stay here, they should upkeep the most basic essentials needed for a motel room. I paid $100 total which included the $20 dog fee. I would stay away and find a comparable motel that would allow pets even if you have to pay more.
