'We have stayed many incredible and beautiful places all over the world. Te Karaka Lodge is completely in a class by itself! Everything and everyone in this place is superb. There is not one little detail which is not lovingly cared for by the staff. It is a gorgeous place in gorgeous surroundings. There were 4 of us and we were very sad not to be able to book a second night. Dinner was indescribable. Every presentation rivaled a masterpiece painting. We have many pictures of both...

'Foxgloves is an excellent B&B in a fully restored villa with matching furniture and decoration. Hosts Grace and Patrick will do everything to make your stay great, to start with serving generous and delicious breakfast (and dinner if you want as well). The B&B lies isolated in a beautiful area, the perfect place to relax without mobile phone coverage (wifi is available). Raglan is only a 30 min drive away. We will come back!'

'Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful luxurious house overlooking the Waikato River. There was a safe swimming area in the river and a hot tub. The house was spacious, with all amenities inside and out bbq etc. inside outside stereo sounds , awesome tv viewing. All amenities provided and more just needed to turn up with bag clothes. Big enough for family or couple. Host with the mostest as well.'

'A tad cold, even in summer. The breakfast basket was nice surprise but i feel the quantity can be increased (only 1 strip of bacon and 1 small waffle per pax). The cost could be used for a nice hotel stay instead'
