'We had a great stay! The onsen experience and breakfast are amazing, and the the hotel provides all the details you can hope for. Because of the way the hotel is built, and the beautiful garden, it is a must-do especially during fall. We should have stayed longer!'

'Incredible hospitality and ryokan experience. Very traditional and a wonderful way to experience and appreciate Japan and Japanese culture (11th time here and have done ryokan before). Extensive kaiseki and some dishes you would never find on a restaurant menu. Place is extremely clean albeit showing a bit wear - and - tear with facilities. Do book private onsen outside. 10/10'

'Beautiful hotel- lovely surroundings. Stayed in the corner room on the forest tower and the room was fantastic- lovely view. So nice to use the onsen on the sixth floor of this building. Staff of course are amazing. Do be sure to stroll the garden- so beautiful. Breakfast is an affair each morning- felt very pampered. Highly recommend.'

Upon making a reservation, the hotel sent us a detailed email with directions and advice. The managers/owners are lovely and very helpful. When you arrive, you can feel the peaceful atmosphere.
