'Bag Gastein is a wonderfull villiage and the waterfall is amazing and just a few steps away from the hotel. Also beautifull routes to walk start nearby. The room are a bit dated but they are very clean and big. The bath was very nice. '

'Beautiful surroundings, hotel a little creaky. Food a little pricey but hotel was in a good location with parking. Lots of nearby restaurants on foot. The hotel is also fairly close to the ski lifts too, plus the outer balconies overlook the bottom section of the waterfall. If you walk around to the left side of the hotel on the main road you can reach the upper mid-section of the waterfall without needing further transportation. 'Fantastic stay. Great restaurant. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. Very popular place to have a drink. The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square. 2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel. All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out....
