The house was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for relaxing.The location was perfect – just a short drive to the mountains. Communication was great and the house is comfortable, cozy, and close to amenities in Eagle River. Odd Man Rush Brewpub around the corner is a local treasure. The neighborhood is walkable and friendly. Already looking forward to the next stay!'

'We had such a lovely stay at this charming spot with a beautiful lake view! The space was perfect for families, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, including our little ones. My kids especially loved sledding down the hill to the lake—it was such a treat! 'We enjoyed staying at the Black Bear Abode. House was clean and very inviting. Heads up though, there are no washcloths and only a couple of towels in each bathroom. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some. Beds were very soft and pillows were very thin. Just expected more for the cost we psid. '

'We stayed here with some family for our son's wedding. The bedrooms were perfect for what we needed. The living area & kitchen are a combined area so was cozy but not big enough for accommodating a large crowd. 'Very clean and quiet I was very satisfied with the place in general except for one thing we were all very disappointed in the fact the description for this place said it had a jetted spa tub which there was but nothing said the jets were out until after checking in which that was a main factor in renting this specific place was for the jetted tub! Other then that nice place!'

'Hot tub was a plus, kitchen lacked appropriate utensils, if you need knives to cut meat bring some with you! Floors covered in dog hair, was unaware until placed dirty clothes on floor and instantly covered in dog hair. Had to ask about cleaning supplies as we were there 2 weeks! The big issue is securtiy we had a strange man walk throught there cunstruxtion zone straight into the master bedroom and stood and stared at my husband for over 2 min until my husband relized he was being watched....
