Romantische blokhut voor twee. Open haard, grote 5x7 ft. Jacuzzi, een grote keuken, wasmachine en droger, flatscreen-tv, overdekte veranda met schommelstoelen. Slechts tien minuten in de bergen van Main St. Gatlinburg. Forel vissen, slangen, wandelen, zwemmen in de buurt. Slechts een paar mijl van de Greenbrier ingang van de Great Smoky Mountains. Alle linnengoed, beddengoed, handdoeken provided..Adult huisdieren onder 15 pond met een $ 200 huisdier borg betaald bij de check-in en terugbetaald bij het uitchecken na inspectie. I really had never had any complaints about the cabins where I have previously been in Gatlinburg, but this time my stay was bad since my arrival at the cabin, I was never informed that I should pick up the keys to enter another place (there is not that much of a problem That's why) when we arrived to get the keys they said that the cabin was not ready that they needed to clean first something unheard of due to the time it was, the check-in time is supposed to be at 3:00, I arrived at 5:30 and they still haven't It is clean according to them, the place where they give the keys looks very bad because it is dirty, at 6:30 they gave me the keys, I spent the first night there at dawn the kitchen was full of ants on the table and the stove. I had a very bad impression of that place, most of the things are in poor condition. I think they should have a little more awareness when renting their cabins in poor condition.

Affordable cabin
While there are quite a few updates that could be made to the cabin, for the price it is a great place to stay. There’s not much of a Mountain View, but the drive is so easy and it is close to several trolley stops. I think a good deep cleaning and really simple building updates would make this the perfect spot to stay on a budget. The major issues I noticed were that there was insulation kind of floating around, which could be a hazard for children or pets. The cabin needs a good scrub, which could be easily outsourced to a local cleaning company. Otherwise, the cabin was exactly as described. The shower has a wonderful water pressure and the kitchen is set up well. I didn’t end up using the hot tub because there is not enough hot water in the tank to actually take a hot bath and the tub itself very much needs cleaned. The bed is comfortable and clean, we didn’t have any issues with household pests, which is pretty impressive in the south in the summer.

Relaxing getaway
Perfect spot for one or two people to get away for a while. A very short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, but felt remote at the same time. The kitchen is a bit small with very little room for prep work, but the dining table is close enough to use for that purpose. As a chef, I'm glad I brought my own knives and such, but the kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils and cookware. There was some minor mold growth on the shower curtain, and the dryer's lint trap didn't look like it had been cleaned in ages (I didn't use the laundry facilities.) Being able to soak in the jacuzzi tub right next to the fire place in the living area was amazing! *Note* The wood burning fire place had a note by it saying it's not to be used between April 1st and ?(sometime in the fall.) Overall a wonderful time!

Was not what we wanted.
For one we had to meet the owner to get the key, never had to do that before. Then the shower curtain had mold all over it. The hot tub was a complete mess, the couch was ran down and old. What we saw and spent money on was all the cabins put into one add to make it look nice and up to date. Never again will we rent from Brently Honey moon log cabin. I have photos.

Wonderful Getaway
I was in need of some serious down time and unwind from work and everything else. First of all the drive there was amazing, the beauty unmatched. When we went to check in we were met with a friendly smile, and plenty of information, we were able to find the cabin relatively easy. It felt so tucked away, but we were still so close to what ever we needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. Bring your seasoning’s and such for the kitchen, but wow this was so amazing. I will definitely go back. The owner even checked on us, customer service at its finest. Brent and family definitely have a repeat customer with me.

Great getaway.
My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay. The road is excellent, it is near attractions, and it is in a quiet area. My only suggestion would be to stock the cabin with basic kitchen necessities like dish towels, salt, etc.
