'We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this beautifully restored 257 year old farmhouse. The location was peaceful and private — truly an unexpected gem within minutes of the center of New Hampshire’s capital city. During our stay we experienced two snowstorms and we were grateful for our host’s balance of respecting our privacy while also ensuring us safe access in and out of the snowy property. We can’t wait to return in June and again in September! '

'We recently stayed at this property for Thanksgiving with nine adults, two children, and two well-behaved dogs, and had a memorable experience overall. The home is set in a stunning location with a beautiful yard, lake, and deck space that we thoroughly enjoyed. Outdoor highlights included making s’mores over the solo fire pit and using the pizza oven. Inside, the two kitchens were impressively stocked with cookware, appliances (including two coffee makers and an espresso machine), and...

'We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!'

'Fairly new house on the pond. Little sand beach. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks (need new/more paddles). Spacious. Large, well appointed and supplied modern kitchen. Nice master suite. Only one bathroom on ground floor for 3 bedrooms. Plenty of bench seating on deck facing lake, but could use use some chairs with cushions. '

'We were visiting for Thanksgiving and needed a place for our family to stay. It was a perfect spot for my family to unwind after visiting relatives and the craziness of the Holiday. Kitchen is amazing and had everything we needed to make pies for Thanksgiving! The beds were comfortable and the couches are great for snuggling and watching movies with the kids. We didn't use the yard as it was too cold but it looked great.'

'The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!'

'This fit the bill for an unplanned birthday overnight. Everything went smoothly and was as described. We regret our stay was too short to enjoy some of the amenities but we hope to return.'

'Very clean, brand-new renovation. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Bed and pull out couches are very comfortable. The owner is very kind and easy to talk to, he lives in another house on the property, which gave us both peace of mind and lots of privacy.'

'This property was exactly as advertised. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with cooking and baking gear. The beds are comfy. Temperature control is fantastic. It’s a great location - quiet neighborhood and the waterfront is so beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. '

'Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. We all wished we could have stayed much longer and would book again in a heartbeat if we’re ever back in the area.'

'We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home this past weekend. We were attending a family wedding and the house fit all 8 adults nicely plus our 8 month old granddaughter. It had a nice comfortable living room area for hanging out and a good size kitchen table for breakfasts together. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. Thank you for your hospitality!'

'This charming Lakehouse was the perfect vacation spot for my husband and myself along with our two adult children and their spouses and our three grandchildren. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out. It was very clean and well stocked. The deck has a spectacular view of the lake. The “she shed” is adorable and was a huge hit with our three grandchildren who called it the “cousins clubhouse.” We put the kayaks to good use and Anna – Lisa was very responsive to any questions we had. 'Absolutely loved this property. The beds are huge and there's lots of space and you can adjust the AC to your liking. The only thing we didnt like was we felt the hottub wasnt very clean. '
