'This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!'

'Great location - short drive to shopping and outdoor adventuring activities. Comfortable accommodations. Very private lot. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house during our stay, but the sunsets are amazing and it was fun to walk around near the shore during low tide. Beautiful views from the sunroom and main upstairs bedroom. I would recommend this place to friends and family in the future. '

'We have been coming to Bar Har for years and rented various places. This was by far my favorite! It was so clean and the location is so convenient, we just loved it! 'The pictures are accurate, the accommodations lovely. Plenty of beds. We had 10 people, if you had a full house, only having 2.5 bathrooms might be tricky. Game room was nice, as was having several gathering areas. Super short checkout list (yay!), great location for exploring Acadia. 100% would rent again!'

'This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. '

'The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!'
