Parking at the Patterson Inn is free—nice small bar, 12 Spirits—in hotel. Nice company and conversation there and a great grilled cheese sandwich. '

'This is a beautiful historic inn. Our stay included a very substantial breakfast, with more than one menu choice, served in the lovely dining room. We stayed in the smaller Colorado room, which was immaculate with period furnishings. The queen bed was against a wall, which means if two are sleeping in it, the person on the wall side's egress is climbing out the foot of the bed, however, moving it out would block the beautiful fireplace. 'We had a great stay; the bedroom was top-notch. The heated bathroom floor and bed made it five-star accommodations. The staff was better than ever; Connie was so helpful about what to do and where to go around town. The chef (I forgot his name; I'm sorry) was great to talk to, and the food was five-star.'
