Mon chalet, ideal for family or friends. Famous for the cult film "37°2 le matin", the sandy beach offers calm, freedom and safety. At the end of the world, the "wild" side of Gruissan for those who want to escape the inconveniences of the modern world will seduce you, while offering you places of conviviality thanks to restaurants, Provencal markets and entertainment spots. A village market sells the day's catch by the fishermen themselves. Children can play freely and safely, as all the neighbors know each other. There are no boundaries on the land, which is what makes Gruissan so special.
Gruissan is a world apart...worth a visit.
15 km from Narbonne, a Gallo-Roman town by the sea, my cottage is an old fisherman's hut on stilts. The 2nd floor is made entirely of wood.
Upstairs is a huge terrace with a dining area. Inside, a bright living room extends from an open kitchen, two small bedrooms (140 cm beds) and a separate toilet with washbasin. On the first floor, you'll find another bedroom (140 cm bed) and the hot-water shower (rudimentary). No central heating, just a fan heater.
The living areas are bright and pleasant. All the walls are made of wood, just like in the old days.
This is an atypical dwelling. If you're looking for comfort and sophistication, this is not the place for you. It's still in the cabane spirit, but a big cabane nonetheless! When it rains, Gruissan isn't very pleasant.
On the plage des chalets, look for islet 5, avenue des Eiders, my chalet is number 12 called "Lucky", just behind the chalet called "Coup de Vent".
There's a key box to let you in.
You can park at the foot of the chalet.
Rental of the entire chalet.
Sheets, towels and tea towels can be rented for 5 euros per person. And 25 euros for cleaning costs to be left in an envelope. thank you.
You'll find soap in the bathroom and salt, oil and coffee in the kitchen.
Pets are welcome!
