'Lovely cottage separate from the owners house but on the same lot. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Well equipped kitchenette for self-catering as there are not many restaurants near by, however there is a grocery store in the next town over. Nice to hear the frogs at night, was very soothlng. Morning will bring sounds of cockerels so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. There is a fairly soft double mattress and a say bed, making this a perfect getaway for a couple. '

'This is a real find. The lanai opens up on a tranquil view of the mountains and the air is filled with birdsongs. During my stay, I sat on the lanai for hours and never heard a human voice. The condo was spotless and the kitchen well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. When I arrived I could not find an umbrella or chair and when I communicated with the management they answered immediately. Very very nice spot. '

'The location of this hotel is unbeatable. The volcano crater is right at the back of the hotel. And it's one of the best spot to view the crater. You can view it from the lobby and dining room, or walk out for a more open view. One thing that makes staying here really great is that: you could only see the red lava when it's dark (and cold). So ppl stay late or come in really early to watch the sun rise. Staying here makes everything convenient. The food in the restaurant was actually not bad...
