'We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday to visit with family. We loved the layout of the cabin. The beds were comfortable (it was a plus to have queen & king size beds). Plenty of hot water for six adults to get showers. It was so cozy! We played pool, built a fire, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Suggestion - It would be nice if a crock pot was available to use. I had to borrow my niece's. '

'The property is just as photos represent. The Loft was clean, well stocked with supplies, & the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the peacefulness of the Doe River just steps away & enjoyed the firepit. We drove to Johnson City (approximately 20 minutes away) for a lovely dinner. The hosts were responsive quickly with communication. We would definitely stay at the Loft again! '

'Beautiful house! So much room for everyone to spread out and enjoy our stay. Just a few things need attention by owner. The downstairs couch legs are broken and the downstairs bedroom door does not lock. '

'Very clean, private house. Loved the river, firepit, flying geese and easy in-and-out. Everything you could need. I liked having separate bedrooms and bathrooms for my girlfriend and me. 'Nice view of Grandfather Mountain. Comfortable Stay. Hot tub worked. Full sized coffee maker. Gas fireplace. Ample parking... Walls were a little thin (noise). FYI.'

'The home is so unique in its design with a loft fit for Heidi, an old children’s book written by Spyri. The grandsons were immediately drawn to the loft, and the children’s furniture enhances its intrigue. Two bedrooms and baths downstairs provide excellent creature comfort for the adults and the great room encompassing the kitchen, dining room, and living room with the massive stone fireplace provides a warm and perfect environment for socializing. The landscape outdoors with the fire pit...

'A lovely, clean and well-cared for cabin in a beautiful setting - our little family truly enjoyed being here. We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. The deck and gazebo are extraordinary, and the creek flowing underneath...
