'A great place for large family. Clean. Convenient to stores, restaurants, quiet. My only complaint is the dangerous driveway which should have been mentioned in the description of property. It is very, very steep and scary. Other than that, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the house!!'

'my husband and I and our four children stayed for a week at this property. The view was beautiful. The bathrooms were nice and clean. However, the kitchen was under cared for. We noticed coffee grounds in the silverware tray and felt the need to wash all of the dishes prior to using them due to grease. The couches were very small and it was difficult to relax on them. Great for formal settings. We enjoyed the fireplace but was disappointed to see there were no matches available for the outdoor...

'We had 4 families in this property for my mom’s 75th birthday ages 4-75. There was something for everyone! The kitchen was well stocked. We had some questions upon arrival and the response was immediate. I can not say enough about this property. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Thank you for your hospitality.'

'We had a wonderful time! It was perfect for us. The view was beautiful and the house was updated. There is a fence in the backyard even. We have tall men in our family and the living room seating was very comfortable with leather couches that reclined. We spent Christmas there and would do it again. The host was reachable and very nice. I am so pleased. '

'We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday to visit with family. We loved the layout of the cabin. The beds were comfortable (it was a plus to have queen & king size beds). Plenty of hot water for six adults to get showers. It was so cozy! We played pool, built a fire, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Suggestion - It would be nice if a crock pot was available to use. I had to borrow my niece's. '

'We loved the place! It wasn't the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Cobwebs were all over the place and the floor didn't look to be swept very well. There were a ton of lady bugs but that didn't bother us. It was overall a wonderful stay.'

'We had a great extended weekend at Hawk’s Watch! Plenty to do for all ages. The house sits atop a lovely mountain range.The kitchen is well stocked and (opposed to other reviews) there was salt and pepper, the house was clean and we would stay again. The beds are super comfortable. We were up close and personal with deer, wild turkey and even a random bunny. 'Lovely home with beautiful deck and water falls right out the door. So close to lots of quaint little towns, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Boone, Beech Mountain, we relaxed and did jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed good company in a wonderful peaceful environment '
