'I stayed with my extended family (all 10 of us) in this wonderful house. It was a terrific set up with plenty of space for people to both spread out and be together. The mudroom gave us the space to dump skis and poles and not track snow, salt, and sand into the house. We especially appreciated the large table that allowed us to all sit together for meals and the large kitchen that made cooking for a big group smooth and seamless. 'This home was very nice for our whole family! Six adults and our family dog. Nice clean baths. Great area and beautiful view. At the end of the street there was a walking/hiking trail called Tin Mountain. Fun trail. Thank you Brian (host) for a wonderful Christmas vacation. '

'It was only after we arrived at the property we were told that the pool and our jacuzzi were both out of order. We wouldn’t have stayed there had we known before hand. We even ran out of hot water when taking showers at night. It seemed old and in need of many updates and the worst part is the general manager was not helpful at all. I wanted a full refund for showing up to a non functional hotel but the general manager only offered a coupon for a free weekend. It was the WORST experience...

'I live in Oregon but grew up and went to college in Maine. I rented Peter and family’s place a few weeks ago to spend some family time with my parents and brothers and my college friend. This was my favorite southern Maine VRBO rental. Beautiful, spacious and clean and we had an amazing time staying here. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and amenities. Flawless communication with the owner. I will absolutely rent this home again. Thank you Peter and family! -Kevin'

'This house was a great home base for our annual snow shoe trip to the Conway area. The hot tub was enjoyed following a day of trekking through the snow cover trails nearby. Would recommend this property and stay again.'

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
