# 709 De speeltuin: ruime woning, basketbalveld, speeltuin, dicht bij strand en Main Street! Gelegen aan het einde van de straat in een aantrekkelijke wijk Harwich Port, zal ons grote familiehuis eindeloos plezier bieden voor uw hele groep. Ontspan op het achterdek terwijl je kijkt hoe de kinderen zich uitleven en spelen in onze klimrek, met ladders, klimrekken en een glijbaan. Breng iedereen bij elkaar voor een pick-up game van basketbal, want onze oprit verdubbelt voor een basketbalveld. Red River Beach ligt op slechts 3 minuten rijden langs de weg en ons huis ligt direct om de hoek van Main Street en het centrum van Harwich Port, waar u tal van geweldige restaurants, winkels en uitgaansgelegenheden vindt. Loop door de voordeur van ons huis om een gecombineerde woon- / eetkamer te vinden met een grote flatscreen-tv, comfortabele banken met veel zitplaatsen en een hoge tafel en stoelen. De eerste verdieping beschikt ook over een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een formele eetkamer, een slaapkamer met queensize bed, een complete badkamer en een rustige woonkamer met een open haard die perfect is om te lezen of te ontspannen. Boven zijn nog drie slaapkamers: de master met een kingsize bed, de andere met een queensize bed en de derde met drie tweepersoonsbedden (twee stapelbedden), evenals een andere complete badkamer. Andere voorzieningen zijn centrale A / C, WiFi, kabel-tv, een wasmachine / droger in de kelder, een gasbarbecue en lakens en handdoeken voor elke gast. Ons huis is ook hondvriendelijk, dus vergeet ook niet je beste vriend mee te nemen. Maak uw volgende familie vakantie een om te onthouden en boek nu!

Great spot for a family getaway!
This place was amazing from the space of the house, the backyard with huge deck and the play area saved us with our 2 and 4 year olds. There’s one bedroom downstairs so anyone staying with family gets privacy. 5 minute drive to red river beach; texts with the landlord daily if anything needed. I highly recommend.

Great relaxing summer trip with kids home from college.
Everything about the trip was really nice. The property was well represented in the pictures. Clean, nice, spacious and comfortable. Del Mar was super professional and responsive. The location was also nice. Plenty of parking and close to lots of restaurants, stores and the bike trail. Walk to nice beach was safe and easy. Close to harbor for more activities and the ferry.

Great cape location
We headed to the cape for a golf weekend and this house was a great fit. It had plenty of room and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. There was a little confusion as the listing said six beds but there were only 5. Not a big deal for us but something the next renter should be aware of. Overall a nice place to stay.

Nice play for kids to enjoy
The outdoor aspects of this property are clearly the best. Plenty of room to play and enjoy the secluded deck. The interior needs updating, especially the kitchen and baths. The bedrooms have little closet space and the lighting is difficult - mostly lamps without wall switches. But overall it was OK for a family weekend with good weather.

2 week true vacation
This was a lovely Home and great location. We stayed two weeks with our family and friends and had one of our best vacations. The house is so, so cozy - we never felt like we were “away from home”. Comfortable beds and furniture, GREAT living space. The kitchen is just fine - lots of kitchen and dining utilities (pots, plates, platters, etc) and great neighborhood. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. Short drive to the beach and walking trail and so close to lots of food options and ice cream! The property manager was very helpful, kind and responsive and did a great job. Made the experience very easy.

Great family vacation rental. Plenty of room for the whole family. Close to beaches and Harwich Port. Back yard and deck are great for gathering. House is just as shown in listing photos. Del Mar Vacations was easy to work with and very accommodating.

Big house, big yard, needs some updating
Pulling into the driveway we had some concerns about the property as the outside of the house is in need of basic maintenance and not overly appealing. Overall, it was a decent home, good for families with plenty of space. The driveway was nice and big and where we spent a lot of time, and the yard itself was great for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for kids to ride bikes and go for walks. Inside the house, like outside, there is a need for updating and maintenance. The furniture in the main living room is old and uncomfortable. The couches are all sunken and dirty looking. As other reviewers noted, the kitchen appliances are very dated. The master bedroom upstairs is large and the other 3 bedrooms were also comfortable for my kids. If you're looking for a house with space and a nice yard it checks the boxes.

WEEK WITH FAMILY
The kids play area was great, lovely deck, but inside there were a few issues with broken things, which we did not have the time to have everything fixed, but hopefully all will be taken care of soon! Examples-door screens ripped, one burner not working on the stove, the shades were on the floor, broken, and as we were leaving, we noticed an overhead light out in the kitchen. Just a note here-if you have down pillows, it is a good idea to advertize that, as I am allergic to down...sneezing each morning, and chronic allergy congestion ensued. Just my thoughts. Overall, the house was comfortable, and accommodated our family. The quiet location was great, in addition to being near everything we wanted. Highly recommend The Brax Landing Restaurant! Awesome!

High school reunion summer trip!
Once a year we rent a home in Cape Cod and this home was perfect for our three families to enjoy. So Spacious! The kids loved the play set and stayed outside on it almost everyday. The yard was large enough to play catch with our golden retriever. The comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen were our gathering spots for the week. Porch was large and inviting as well. A kids paradise
This is a very good vacation property for people with kids. My Grandson loved it! From bunk beds to the gym outside and the huge basketball court he rode his bike on. For me however it was very difficult. I have handicapped limitations so no walk in showers both bathrooms up and down have tub showers. The first floor bedroom has no dressers or closets to put your clothes there is a standing cabinet but my Husbands clothes had to stay in the suitcase. The first floor bed was horrible and the stairs were to steep for me to go to the second floor where everything is great from what my family members told me. I couldn’t use the front entrance because there is a slight incline making it difficult. I used the back deck and stairs and walk way because everything was at least flat for me. I knew about no walk in shower but I wanted to make my Grandson happy. But the downstairs bedroom looks like it was made into a bedroom by putting up a wall in the formal living room so no closets or dressers just extra sleep space for someone with a good back. All in all this is a great house for a young family and if Grandparents rent the house for them make sure you can do stairs and use tub showers.

Great place for large groups
We had 7 adults staying here and really felt comfortable with the space. The kitchen is a bit small, but there’s ample seating for eating and lounging around in two dining areas. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the place overall was very nicely decorated. It felt very homey for our long weekend! It’s just a short drive to restaurants, markets, and grocery stores.

Summer 2019 Harwich Port Vacation
This home is immaculately decorated and its furnishings couldn’t be more comfortable. The open flow with multiple sitting areas; large deck and yard with equally gorgeous outdoor living spaces, and a high-end basketball hoop and huge court for our children, made it a pleasure to stay here for our Cape vacation. The proximity to the beach was also very convenient as our teens could walk to and from it independently when they desired. We did not give it a 5 star overall rating only because the older kitchen stovetop and outdoor gas grill did not work efficiently and it was difficult to cook.
