Relaxing Lake Gaston Getaway (twee aparte woonruimtes; 9 slaapplaatsen)

Dit huis is een perfect uitje voor alle leeftijden! Met een woonkamer boven en een bonuskamer beneden (met een pingpongtafel), biedt dit huis afzonderlijke woonruimtes voor iedereen om comfortabel te ontspannen. Geplaatst op een grote inham die direct uitkomt op het grootste deel van het meer biedt varen, zwemmen, kajakken, paddle boarding, zonnebaden en nog veel meer. Twee grote televisies, WiFi, royale zitplaatsen boven en beneden, een grill en een prachtig uitzicht biedt meerdere manieren om te ontspannen.
Meerdere buitenvoorzieningen wachten op u in dit Lake House. Het dok en boothuis biedt schoenplaten en bumpers om uw boot veilig vast te binden en een jetski-lift is ook aan het dok bevestigd. Tal van waterspeelgoed, waaronder een paddleboard, kajak voor volwassenen, kajak voor kinderen, waternoedels en zwemvesten voor volwassenen en kinderen. Een "badhuis" met een douche, wastafel en toilet draagt bij aan het gemak van dit huis als u buiten bent of in het meer speelt en niet wilt stoppen met plezier of opdrogen om naar binnen te komen. 'S Avonds kunt u uw tenen in het zand steken en een vuur maken in de grote vuurplaats terwijl u geniet van het meer.
WIFI, AppleTV om te bekijken op de twee grote gescreende televisies, games, boeken en tijdschriften, en een tafeltennistafel zijn slechts enkele van de voorzieningen om van binnen te profiteren. Grillen terwijl u uitkijkt over het meer is een perfecte manier om de dag te beëindigen.
Ruime parkeergelegenheid aan de voorkant van het huis zorgt voor meerdere voertuigen en boottrailers. Een boothelling om uw waterspeelgoed te lanceren ligt op ongeveer 3,2 km van het huis. Al uw linnengoed, inclusief handdoeken, lakens en strandlakens, zijn aanwezig en inbegrepen in uw verblijf. Een wasmachine en droger zijn ook beschikbaar indien nodig tijdens uw verblijf.
De enige supermarkt van het gebied ligt op ongeveer 8 km van het huis. Er zijn verschillende lokale eetgelegenheden in de buurt, waaronder een bakkerij, pizzeria en ijssalons als u geen zin hebt om te koken of een zoete traktatie wilt. De buurt is ook per boot of auto goed bereikbaar voor gas. Verschillende restaurants zijn bereikbaar via het water. Verschillende restaurants bieden livemuziek en de stad organiseert het hele jaar door festivals en evenementen.

Great weekend getaway
Had a wonderful stay at the lake! Check in process super easy, house was clean and just as described. Beds all made up, plenty of towels and lake towels. Kitchen well equipped. House was plenty spacious for our family. We enjoyed the ping pong table and spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the lake. Lesley was super responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Appreciated the recommendations for local places to check out as well. Great experience and we look forward to returning again in the future!!

House is great/ really perfect set up for adults and teenagers with the 2 tv areas/ living rooms. Has everything you need. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and 1 really nasty day due to the storm, but the house was nice for rainy days too. Host was very quick to reply if we had any questions.

Very comfortable, well-equipped home!!
Everything we needed and more! Leslie has thought of it all. From dish soap to beach towels and so many other thoughtful touches. We had the most relaxing time at this lake house with our daughter and her little family. The beds are comfortable, great water pressure in the showers, nice big bathtub made bath time fun for our toddler grandson, and blackout blinds in his bedroom made for great naps between swimming in the lake! Our son-in-law was able to work in the comfortable downstairs den with a great view of the lake and WiFi access. Every room in this house, as well as the porch and patio, is wonderfully comfortable and attractive as well. We brought our favorite kayaks from home and enjoyed the calm cove and the short paddle out to the main lake. The lake was flat and quiet except Saturday and Sunday when the wind and boat traffic picked up a lot. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Food Lion is close enough to pick up whatever you need and get ice cream or a malt milkshake at Wakeboard Willie’s on the way. There’s plenty of parking space and the view from the carport made it a great private workout spot. The front yard is flat and big, a great spot for our toddler to run around and pick clover flowers. This well-appointed home was the perfect quiet private getaway for our family. Leslie is a great communicator and always responded promptly. We highly recommend this vacation home!

Enjoyable week
We had a great week! The house was perfect for two families. Fishing at the dock for Brim was fun. We didn’t have much luck with catfish or bass this week, caught a few. It was not easy docking the bass boat but we managed to maneuver around the docked jet ski to the bulk head side and dock it there so we could swim. Enjoyed conversations with neighbors 2 doors down building a house. The weather was great! We would stay here again!

2021 Lake Gaston Vacation
My family and I enjoyed our annual Lake Gaston trip at this cute house, tucked away in a cove. With linens, towels, beach towels, in addition to paper towels and toilet paper provided, the kayaks, paddle board and floats were a great addition to have! Lesley and Richard were great hostesses, responsive to messages with quick responses.

Having water toys included saved our trip. Main floor is nicely decorated. Can't get away from the water damage smell in the house. We left one night early... just couldn't take it. Communication with the owner was nice and casual. However, a week after getting back I received a surprised negative review and a claim for damages. To say that I was surprised is an understatement. Things that were claimed and attributed to us were incredible. We didn't break chairs or used wax, yet... my credit card was charged for the damages that we didn't do!!! We booked last-minute over Memorial day weekend with a strong desire to recharge and spend a few peaceful days on a lake.. I should have been more curious why property was available within a week of a major holiday and only had a handful of reviews while being rented for a few years.

The house was excellent, well stocked for all needs. It was clean, all the linens and towels were top quality. We enjoyed the fire pit and loved being able to tie our boat up right at the dock. We’re hoping to make a return visit in the future.

Beautiful clean welcoming home
We had a wonderful stay even though it rained for three days. Home is relaxing and well laid out with two separate living spaces and a great bunk room. All beds were comfortable. We made s’mores, fished, enjoyed the kayaks, boated and just chilling. Close to everything. Beautiful view from the end of the cove and no wake to worry about. Overall amazing stay!!! Would come back.

Beautiful place
Leslies place was super clean and very accommodating. We enjoyed the ping pong table and sectional for movies and the kitchen was well equipt. Beautiful view from her loveley deck! We loved beautiful Lake Gaston and the residents were super nice. Only one thing i would suggest is a step ladder for the kitchen as some of the items are stored on the very top shelves. Other than that i would definitely would suggest Leslie's place !

The property was well maintained. The location was ideal, on a quiet street and cove on the water. Water boat access < 2 miles a way and boat landing very nice. Provided amenities with ping pong table was a hit, as well as provided paddle board and kayak. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Fun at Gaston
This property surpassed our expectations! The bedrooms were spacious, the common areas very comfortable especially the downstairs room which offered a great place for our young grandchildren to play. The kitchen was well stocked! The porch offered a great place to congregate for meals. The lake was perfect with an area so the kids could wade in, but deep enough for the adults to swim. Loved having the kayaks and paddle board along with chairs available. The location was perfect because it was a protected cove, but easily accessible to the main lake. The owner was readily available to answer questions before we arrived and checked in on us through email during the week. It’s obvious they care about their renters! We hope to rent here again next year.
