'Great view of the lake. The only thing that would have been better would have been if it wasn't such a steep drop down to the lake and the long stairs to get down there. Being our age that just didn't work.'

'Stop! Quit searching for places to stay in Beatrice. This is the place to stay. This place was everything described and more. My dad,brother and myself stayed here for a couple days and couldn't have been more happy about our stay. Everything was flawless from the get go. Ms. Margie and Mr. Gary are first class folks with a wealth of knowledge of everything Beatrice. Mr. Gary is quite the story teller and will have you rolling. All the farm animals some local some not so local are beautiful...

Red Cloud still has some cobblestone streets and many of the downtown properties are being renovated. Grain trucks can be a little loud during harvest, but I slept well. Got up early to catch the sunrise on the Willa Cather Prairie. '
