'Stayed at this property numerous times over the years. They’ve made wonderful updates and it truly feels like a mountain lodge with an amazing bar and gorgeous seating area. The restaurant was closed so we didn’t get to try it. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet escape to a truly charming inn. '

'We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The mountain view was absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t get enough of it. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Getting to enjoy the snow was an unexpected bonus that made the trip even more special. We can only imagine how breathtaking the view must be in the fall when the leaves change colors. This was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay here again!'

'A small but well equipped cabin at the end of a private road. A deck with table and chairs expands the living space. Very quiet location behind the owners house. There is a fenced in yard at this cabin perfect for a dog to explore. There is a barn and fenced area for the two horses. A large section of the pasture has reverted to natural plantings which attract a variety of birds. The road to the cabin runs along the pasture providing viewing and photographing opportunities. 'Our week in Highlands was so enjoyable and Foxglove Flat, although rustic on the outside, is a beautiful space to call home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and easy access for my husband with his mobility issues. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook. Multiple coffee making options was nice. I was impressed with the quick response I had regarding the shower (operator error on my part) and the notification that bad weather was on its way. We would not hesitate to...

'The cottage is absolutely adorable outside and inside! We had never been to the Carolinas so we very much appreciated the welcome book filled with valuable information about places to eat and fun outdoor activities! Everything was clean and cozy. The outdoor water feature had the most peaceful sound and was beautiful to look at. We plan to return again this summer and will definitely try to rent the same cottage again! '
