Fall is my favorite time of year on Hilton Head Island, the weather is fabulous, there are fewer visitors so we get to visit the shops and restaurants that we haven't visited in the summer and it's a great place for outdoor football watching! It is also a great time of year for festivals, whether you're looking for great food, live music or just a fun afternoon outdoors the fall festivals have something for you! Here is a list of fall festivals, links to more info, and links to some of the rentals that we manage in case you'd like a fall getaway.

Beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath villa (first-floor bedroom and bath) on the 11-mile lagoon in Palmetto Dunes. Close to the Dunes House with a beachside restaurant and bar. The General Store is just around the corner, they have a great reputation for breakfast and fried chicken for lunch. Take advantage of the Dunes Buggy, a shuttle service that will deliver you to the shops and restaurants of Shelter Cove in season.

The villa has just been updated and features an open floorplan with all-new flooring, lighting/ceiling fans, vanities, ungraded trim, kitchen features, and upgraded baths. New dining room table that seats 8 along with new living room furniture to relax in after a long day of adventures. The exterior has a two-level deck that sits right on the 11-mile lagoon, great for viewing birds and other wildlife. Each of the bedrooms has its own bath and a private balcony overlooking the lagoon. The bunk room has two bunk beds with a twin over a double bed, perfect for hosting a large group. There is an office space in the loft in case you need to work while you are here. There are games, puzzles, and books available to enjoy a little downtime after your outdoor activities.

The beach and the Dunes House are just 5 minutes (400 yards) from the villa. You can also relax in the large pool area for swimming and sunning. Palmetto Dunes has 2 championship golf courses, a large tennis complex, and world-class pickleball facilities.

The Christmas tree goes up before Thanksgiving making this the perfect spot for a December Christmas shopping getaway or a Christmas/New Years celebration.
