'I stayed here with two friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a fantastic time. The Cozy Nook is downtown so everything is within walking distance. The pullout couch was actually comfortable, which I find is rare! The only issue we had was it was very very cold. The only heater for the place is in the bedroom. We turned it up to 75 when we arrived, then went to dinner. When we got back, it was still freezing. We turned on the living room fan to hopefully help circulate the air from the heater....

'The unit was super clean and the view was great! Unfortunately the directions to get there were not so good. This Unit is above a restaurant, which is fine, but it should’ve been disclosed so we could find it! It was dark when we arrived and there were no lights on outside of the unit. The staircase was dark and steep. Then the fireplace didn’t work. I had text the property manager with no response back. The fireplace was one of the reasons I wanted to stay here. All in all it was a nice place....

'Had a wonderful stay over New Year’s with family. Property was very comfortable and a perfect location for exploring downtown Holland. Our only (tiny) quibble was that the cookware in the kitchen was pretty worn. But that did t detract from our overall review. Would absolutely reccomend!'

'The Porches is a beautiful property and the rooms are well appointed. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants as well as the marina. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return and share our experience at The Porches with others.'
