'We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. We loved the pool, kayaks and sunsets on the beach! We drank coffee on the porch every morning and absolutely loved the greenery and privacy. The house was just perfect for us. We walked over to Sandy bay divers and had several great dives. I am already day dreaming...

'We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. 'We had an excellent stay. The cabana and property were remarkable. A neighborhood bar emerged while we were there and I hope it doesn’t last as every other aspect of this place was spot on!'

'Easily walkable to Main Street and all the activities of Roatan. Used the hammocks in screened in porch mornings and evenings. Great place for families. Clothes washer and dryer super convenient. I got scuba certified at Island Diving, a 4 minute walk.'

Had the reviews mentioned the road work & the silt & that the water was not that great we would have not booked. The reef is not that close.
