'I stayed at the 1620 for the first time 2 years ago- for a work related conference. We chose not to rebook as the 1620 really needs a refresh. My stay this week confirmed my initial impression 2 years ago. There is def. areas of the hotel that need repainting. The bedspreads in the rooms are...shabby, stained. The lamps need to be updated (so you can charge phones/MACs). The bathrooms are fine. towels fluffy and white, but smelled of mildew. Staff were very helpful and kind.'
