'The house was charming but a bit unpractical for 2 adults and 3 teens. The location was great with walking distance to the center of Hobart which made it possible for the teens to explore by themselves without being dependent on our car. The house was a bit cold (as most houses in Australia).'

'Outside looks like a little old shack. Inside is lovely and comfortable. It has been made very homely. Reception isn't great in the area but there are dvds and books, some beach toys to keep the kids entertained in down time.'

'Great little getaway. Really had the best of both worlds with a beachside holiday and also being able to explore Hobart and surrounds easily. We were very lucky with the weather and dusted off the kayaks and spent many an hour just gazing at the view. Nice cafe (touch of mo) and Sunday market not far away. Great area for walks on the beach and exploring rockpools. Be mindful that bigger supermarkets are a half hour away. Initial problem with the WiFi which was solved quickly with good...

'There were a couple of maitenance issues which we had to work around. The kitchenette is quite basic for the cost of a stay. No stove or oven. Location is good, however you have to carry everything up quite a few steep stairs.'

'This property is just beautiful. Perfect location in a private setting. Stunning views across the water. Lots to do and see on this Island. I recommend it to everyone looking for a great escape. House is extremely comfortable and clean.'

'Absolutely gorgeous property surrounded by amazing views. It was a great opportunity to get close to the wallabies. The house is spacious and has great lighting. Beach was close by and easy to walk to. Andrea was very accommodating when we had an additional guest join us at the last minute, couldn’t be anymore grateful for that. 'This is the nicest holiday home on the island. Beautiful views, everything you could possibly need in the house and close to the pub and cafe at the end of the street. Outstanding as ever as we stayed here 10 years ago and was not disappointed with the home, location, and responsiveness of the owner. No wonder it’s booked solid!'

'Took my friends on a destination birthday. This house was perfectly designed with 3 queen rooms, 1 double and a single room. It was well stocked with utensils and glasses. We cooked up a storm. The location was close to major supermarkets and tourist spots, just amazing. '
