'For a mini family reunion, we stayed in the "Indiana Jones" themed suite - and WOW it was so amazing! Loved solving the puzzles and looking at all the collectables. Beds were comfy and it was a peaceful visit. Kristi (the host) was so responsive and helpful. Just wish it was closer to downtown to walk to the shops (why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for location). Overall - we want to come back and experience some of the other themed suites!'

'My family and I stayed here for a week and it was the best experience we’ve had with a property to date. The property itself was amazing! It was exactly like it was shown and described. Mrs. Joy was absolutely without a doubt a terrific host. She answered any questions we had, helped us with recommendations for the area and was just all around a “JOY” to deal with. 'We stayed here while visiting family for Thanksgiving and it couldn't have been better. The property was exactly as described. It was super cute and was spotless. We liked that the shower, toilet, and sink were all separate. The screened in porch and the high ceilings just added to the ambiance. All in all it was a great property. 'The owners are so kind and generous. We were greeted not long after arriving and Mr. Dave was so nice to us, offering assistance if we needed it and ensuring everything was as it should be. They respected our privacy so it felt like we were totally on our own despite this suite being underneath their home. The view is absolutely incredible and the suite was perfectly clean with every amenity as advertised and fully functioning. We would love to stay here again!'

'The property is the garage apartment at someone’s house. The owner was really nice and came out a few times to cover the hot tub and he brought food for my kids to feed the ducks. There were snacks and drinks available at check-in. It’s in the middle of nowhere but we really enjoyed just relaxing and kayaking in the pond. Great stay overall.'

I say that because there is so much to do within 10 miles of the cabin that we were only there to watch the sunset and sleep. 'This place is what you see in the photos of nice and cozy. There is a lot of small details put into this room. I stayed by myself but I know if my wife was to come she would have liked it too but she would have preferred a Keurig coffee machine over the older traditional coffee maker. You are within walking distance to downtown Fort Payne which have some small quaint places to eat and shop in small stores. I would stay there again.'
