Brownsburg stay
Three bedrooms, 3 baths and lots of space, nice neighborhood, as far as kitchen supplies the pans, plates and silverware are all available. We appreciated the extra blankets and the use of the washer and dryer. Also appreciated the shampoo and conditioner and extra TP and paper towels. TVs in every room is great. Plenty of hot water and towels for a late April stay. The house was clean. The lock is a nightmare. We actually took a video while in the rain as the lock kept telling us “invalid” and no one online thought this was real. It’s surreal. On a late night, it actually locked us out and it was past 11pm so we couldn’t call anyone to help. Please change this lock. The backyard which featured as the main selling point was awful. The pool had a tarp covering it with enough water on top for many families of frogs to truly enjoy and what a chorus it was! A couple of days a duck actually landed on what is truly a duck pond and not a pool. For some reason the picnic table and fire pit had mounds of branches on them so we couldn’t really use them. The grass was overgrown. Please clean it up or don’t advertise it as an oasis. There was a big trash can full of trash on the curb when we got there and in the garage there was another pile of trash. Thankfully the trash was picked up on Thursday and we packed the now clean can with all the trash awaiting its turn. One of the bathrooms doesn’t have light or window, no idea why there no electricity there. The hallway bathroom, eit

Great neighborhood
The house is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood and is a very short drive to tons of different restaurants, shopping, etc. It was unfortunate that the host did not mention at any time that the pool (which is largely advertised in the photos of the property and most of the reason i booked) was not usable and closed. Mentioning somewhere in the description that its seasonal would be helpful. We were in town for a basketball tournament for my son and had a couple of disappointed 13 year old boys. The bed in 1 bedroom wasnt stable and was taped together on the bottom, and there was some litter in the back yard and an over flowing trash can in the driveway. Bathrooms and linens were clean.

Visiting immediate family
We were visiting our separated son and his wife and 4 grandchildren who were on School Spring Break. Different kids (except the 3 year old) spent different nights with us in the rental. The Property has been renovated with the 3 bathrooms done very well. The pictures accurately depict the rooms and furnishings. The host responded quickly to a few normal hiccups. There are 4 sturdy TV trays on the property and we used 2 for luggage racks and one to add counter space in the master Bath. We have stayed in many short term rental properties both in the US and Europe and we would rank this Property in the upper tier .

No communication
Never got direct messages from Host (every other host I have stayed with reached out). Lost power in the -2 degree (that is MINUS 2 degrees) and never received a call back from the voicemail I left. With this anticipated winter storm coming in, contact about the non-working propane/gas fireplace would have been really helpful, as I suspect that the gas was just shut off somewhere.
