'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. When we arrived on December 14 around noon, the gate was closed, while there is no name sign nor anything else that indicates the existence of a hotel. It looks...

'We stayed 8 days and will definitely return. Beautiful pool, house, property, lagoon for swimming, and surrounded by natural beauty. We met the owners twice and they were very friendly. They even had an anniversary cake delivered for my wife’s sister’s anniversary mid week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We must have spent 3 hours EVERY day in that pool :-) Absolutely wonderful experience!'

'The home is colorful and in a decent location. The place was nice but could use some TLC. The pool was freezing, so our kids did not swim, which defeats the purpose of renting a home with a pool. Communication for check in was a hassle.'
