Beautiful inside and out
The cabin was the perfect place for our family gathering and Yellowstone snow coach tour. It was clean, well-equipped, and nicely designed. The location is quiet, but not isolated, close to the highway, and large windows have beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and foosball table and had a wonderful stay!

Perfect location for our Yellowstone Visit!!!
We were super pleased with our stay at Cozy Bear! It was everything we expected and more. It was very convenient for Yellowstone and we were able to relax with plenty of room in the house in the evenings. We also rented side by sides from Island Park Rental and explored some of the area around the cabin and lake. It was just as beautiful as Yellowstone! Property was just what we needed. Convenient to West Gate of Yellowstone NP which is best gate for access to the whole park. Well appointed kitchen. Clean. Comfortable beds. Hot tub great for relaxing after busy day hiking around Yellowstone. Convenient also to town of West Yellowstone. Washer and dryer great for doing laundry. Rand was easy to communicate with and responsive to our only minor problem. Would recommend it to any family visiting Yellowstone area.

Giving a rating of 4 because the inside of the house was immaculate but outside needed cleaned up a little (didn’t give a good first impression when we pulled up). Kitchen and laundry room were very well-stocked. Plenty of room to hang out with the family and all of the bedrooms were perfect. The house was not far from Yellowstone entrance and was close vicinity to the little town which we enjoyed shopping and had a few very good meals. Also enjoyed the family-owned rodeo that was close to the house. P.S. we knew there wasn’t air conditioning but whole house air would be a plus since the main floor was pretty warm.

Absolutely Awesome!
Our family of six adults absolutely loved our time at Cozy Cabin In the Woods. It was huge with a separate bedroom for each family member, plenty of bathrooms and lots to do. We grilled out every night followed by bonfires and then family games - Mom and Dad ruled the foosball table! Don't worry about the location if planning to visit YNP - it works great. So much better than staying in West Yellowstone. We were out the door everyday at 6:30am and no problem getting easily into the park and to our main events each day - Lamar Valley, Canyon, and OF. The hosts are great with communication and promptness for requests - we need another propane tank. If planning for a group trip to YNP - this is your "home"!

Family Friendly intro to Idaho!
The property owner was very responsive to all inquiries. This location was the cleanest property we have ever rented. House was perfectly suited to our family (ages 7 to 77!” Thought we would use this location to go back into Yellowstone but we found many things in Island Park area that our family enjoyed including the Bear and Wolf reserve, rodeos, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and fishing! Can’t go wrong with property!

The Cozy Bear Home was PERFECT for our family of nine (7 adults and 2 tweens). The layout afforded each family personal space while allowing for family gatherings in the great room and game room. The kids enjoyed the amenities provided in the lower level game room. The hot tub was perfect for the adults and kids after a long day hiking. The proximity to Yellowstone was a plus! In addition, this may be the MOST well stocked of any vacation rental we have stayed at. The owners thought of EVERYTHING! Our Thanks to the owners for a Perfectly Cozy getaway.

We loved that everyone had a king or queen bed to sleep in. Kitchen was, as most said, on the small side but it worked and gave us some cozy times and some laughter. We used the bedroom with the bunk beds as our pantry. The place was well equipped with supplies and household appliances. Rand was very responsive to questions and request. Everyone who stopped by, was friendly and came to the door to let us know they were on the property. Loved that it was close to the entrance to Yellowstone!

Everything You Need
The Cozy Bear Lodge was an excellent home base for our Summer trip into the parks. It has a great layout to accommodate 2 families and entertainment to keep the kids occupied when at home. I must say the thoughtfulness of the host to have just about any basic need you could want ready and available was a pleasant surprise. From condiments to linens, trash bags to Ziplock bags, we had all the little extras to make the family trip easier. The location is just outside of West Yellowstone which made it ideal for trips i to yellowstone, down to the Tetons or around Henry lake. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

Beautiful well appointed and comfortable
We truly enjoyed our stay at the cozy bear cabin. The cabin had everything we could possibly need with extras in the garage. Plenty of beds and bedrooms for everyone. The only thing I would say is that the kitchen is on the small side. Its really only big enough for one cook at a time. We were a big group with extended family coming together, and it made meal prep a little tight. But, again, everything you might want or need was available to use. Just not a lot of space in the kitchen to work.
