'So peaceful! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some great mountain biking. Lots of wildlife and very good wild swimming.'

'The house was spacious and quiet with a beautiful garden. We brought our German shepherd. There were many quiet trails and beaches suitable for walking dogs. James was very helpful.We had a great stay. '

'The property is lovely. The problem is the listing on Vrbo does not explain the pricing correctly and our full party details were not passed on . Resulting in us having pay extra money the day after we arrived . And the cottage is not worth that amount of money.'

'We spent a week in May in Cutlar’s Lodge. The weather overall was kind which gave the estate something of an Edwardian summer feeling. Absolutely beautiful with a delicious hint of eccentricity! 'Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. 'The cottage was amazing and very well equipped, spotlessly clean and modern but very comfortable, with a very welcome selection of treats waiting for us. We know the area well so it was the perfect location for us to do a bit more discovering of Dumfries and Galloway. Would certainly recommend the cottage and we hope to get there again.'

'The bungalow cottage was lovely. Very clean and perfect for a family of 4 with a double bedroom and two single beds in the other bedroom. There were TVs in every room with Freeview and broadband wi-fi was supplied free of charge. The cottage was on a quiet street and we got parked bang outside the front door every day.
