'We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday everything was clean and ready for us we swam in the pond, did a bunch of fishing (bass were biting before dark every night) we hiked to the little water fall on the property, and celebrated my daughters 13th birthday with family, had a big sea food boil enough to feed an army and made enough memories to last a life time! 'Wonderful weekend at a wonderful property! We wanted to escape for some peace and quiet, just the 4 of us, and Blue Elk Lodge delivered! Spacious kitchen/common area, very comfortable beds and linens, and everything we could need or ask for! Only there for a few days, but enjoyed walkabouts on the property, met a very nice neighbor and ventured into Clifford and Carbondale. Would definitely return!!!!! 'Everthing was as described in the listing except the hot tub. That did not look like they switch out the water as often as described unless there is metal in their water that gives it the tint. There was also sand in bottom. We only went in it once. We also had trouble figuring out the arcade. Other than that it was a great time.'

'What a perfect weekend get away for a family wedding in Carbondale at St. Rose of Lima Church and then reception at Birchtown Wedding and Evenings, which as less than 3 miles from the house! The home is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed views on the porches of the lake and time out by the fire pit. Just lovely!'

'I rented this property from Keri to house some of my bridal party. The process was so easy! She made the process for staying at the hideout a breeze, and even allowed for late checkout. The house was clean, and everything about the listing was accurate. Keri was very receptive and was a great host!'

'We used this house as a home base for a planned spa day at Woodloch and it was perfect! Plenty of space and outdoor fire pit is great. Only knock was the grinder pump in the basement woke the whole house up at 3am but we understand that is hard to control. 'I booked this stay to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday, in which she wanted nothing more than a big family reunion. It was such a beautiful property with amazing amenities. We were lucky with good weather in November to kayak on the lake. Everyone was so pleased with the stay and it was exactly what my mom wanted for her birthday. 'I’ve stayed at many places. Let me tell you this is at the top of the list. The house is beautiful, clean (top to bottom) and the location and views are breathtaking. The house has everything you need on site and in kitchen etc. We absolutely loved the place and my teenage boys are already asking when we’re going back Again overall an amazing place and we”ll definitely be booking again !!!'
