'The Valley lodge is Excellent in respect of amenities, safety, restaurants, the staff at the restaurants and lodge are helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. The host was attentive to our needs and request all the time. She really deserves 5 stars ✨. The Valley lodge really lives up to its name.'

'I got scammed by the hotel. I booked and it was confirmed, I paid, when calling for directions the reception said it was full and there was nothing they could do and that I must contact customer services for a refund. Customer services rejected the refund request '

'Lovely, caring owner in a gorgeous location. The property itself needs a bit of TLC. For 50 Rand, they will wash your clothes as there is no washing machine. '

'Lovely big house on a very central spot and close to the sea. A few things need attention but nothing that ruined our stay. We actually had a good time. Although it is self catering, I would suggest that the dustbin should at least have been fixed with a trash bag (one will do for a start!) on guests’ arrival. Not a lot of people travel with a bag to use on arrival. '

'Was a great house and location was perfect but being winter and a coldish weekend, would have been nice to have a few heaters but the blankets were a great second best and made it warm enough. Beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed from cutlery, utensils, kitchen aids and the air fryer is always handy to have. Lovely outdoor patio overlooking the ocean and on 3 sides makes it perfect for choosing the best spot to hide from any weather and to watch the sunrise and sunset and the...
