'As a traveler from USA, and my Japanese being rudimentary at best, the owner of this location was immensely helpful and kind to be very communicative and checking that I accessed the house. It is a big beautiful home, and I wished I stayed more than just one night. I would definitely visit again, and again go for a walk to The Munch for extravagant coffee. I don’t know if I appropriate let the owner know how thankful I was for their communication and the lovely accommodation....

'I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience about this stay. The property is located in an incredibly remote area with absolutely no stores or restaurants nearby. Be aware that the on-site pizza restaurant is closed several days a week, and when it is, you cannot even use the terrace. There are no walking trails around the area, and the owner offered zero recommendations for things to do or places to eat.

'The hotel was hard to find. We could not enter the building until another person staying there let us in. We could not find the passcode to unlock the key lock box. I contacted Expedia several times and they did their best to contact the hotel owner. Took about an hour and the hotel staff finally came out and showed me how to enter the code and unlock my keybox. I realise there is a language barrier, but it was very frustrating when we were waiting in the hot lobby trying to contact someone....
