'the location and place were fine. A lot of things needed 'tightening up.' The bunk bed was not assembled tightly and wobbled. It also has a metal frame that was pressed up to a metal electrical box, which in many places would be a construction violation or hazard. Other things needed work. The porch light is burnt out. Things like that. '

'We had two groups of families stay for the Thanksgiving Holiday. A total of 13 adults and 6 grandchildren 6 and under. It was a fabulous stay. This VRBO was beautifully decorated for the Holiday a very nice touch and surprise. I would definitely recommend this place to others. '

'My Service guys stayed here while they where doing a job in Lone Jack. It was very peaceful, cozy, clean and very relaxing. Thank you so much.'

'This house exceeded expectations. We had a group of 18 ranging in ages from 6 to 75. The outdoor space was a hit with all the kids in spite of cooler November weather. The commercial style kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving meal. The indoor space had so many areas of entertainment and relaxation. We couldn’t have asked for more. The stay was great and we would highly recommend!'

'Check in was easy, but we received the code after check in time. The house wasnt the cleanest we have stayed at, the blinds in the bathroom were covered in dust, there was dried rice and food still on the table, something had spilled in the freezer and wasnt cleaned up. We stayed with 3 toddlers, it wasnt really a fit for young kids but we made it work. Also, we could only find 3 washcloths total for 7 people. It was alright to stay at for 2 nights, we werent at the house much.'

The location was about a 20 minute drive from downtown KC. While everything was great, just be aware that tv's are older with a fussy remote, but it didn't impact our overall experience. '

'Kelly and Marty were attentive but not intrusive. The place was so lovely and quaint. We enjoyed the bottle of wine...what a treat after a day of travel and shopping. It is such a neat location, and I enjoyed my walk through unique architecture and historic homes. We enjoyed the transformation book and how the space came to be. I ended up having to work for several hours and truly appreciated the internet speed. We have this location saved for future trips. Thanks!!!!!'

Having Pizza 51 just down the street and the Whole Foods market was also very convenient. We attended a Chiefs game on Friday and had many memorable and delicious meals. We were able to walk to the Capital Grille, Gram & Dun. Took an Uber to Union Station and ate at Pierpont’s. Walked to TaHa Mexican restaurant, which was excellent! 'This is an older home that’s had many updates, but still has some quirks, such as squeaky kitchen cabinet doors. It was neat and clean and nicely decorated, and the bonus was the pool table. The pool sticks were broken, but new ones were brought over to the house in person. The backyard was fenced and there was plenty room for all four of us to enjoy our time together. '

'My family stayed at this beautiful VRBO last week for Thanksgiving. The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. Check in was easy, amenities were exactly as described, plenty of room for everyone, and fast WiFi which is always a plus. We were close enough to all of the places that we wanted to visit in KC also! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautifully decorated home near Kansas City! '
