'Een ongewoon vriendelijke service en efficient antwoord op elke vraag zoals dat zelden voorkomt zelfs bij 5 sterren hotels kenmerkt de zeer positieve ingesteldheid van gans het personeel. Daarnaast zeer stijlvolle en moderne maar wat kleine kamers , wel zeer confortabele bedden en een leuk klein zwembad en ligweide zoals dat hoort bij een bourtique hotel. Enig minpunt de wat luide airco op de kamer en de piepkleine kluis waarin amper een ipad past.'

'Nice hotel overall but some things in the room needed updating or fixing. Very clean and great friendly staff. Pool area needs more lounge chairs maybe some on the grassy part so there are options The breakfast was amazing. We had the Macademia Nut waffles with coconut syrup and Mac Nut Butter. To die for. Don’t forget to capture the beautiful sunset. '

' Royal Sonesta is a high quality resort with immaculate structure and furnishings. There are plenty of restaurants (although quite pricey), beautiful grounds and gardens and an amazing pool. It’s a step across a walkway to the beach.'

'I’ve been to Kauai probably close to 20 times over the past 15 years. I have stayed in hotels and condos. This place, however, far exceeds them all. I never want to stay anywhere else when visiting Kauai. The view is absolutely stunning and we couldn’t get enough of it. In fact over half of my pictures were of the view from the windows while sitting in the chair enjoying my coffee. The condo was well supplied for cooking meals. 'The hotel is lovely and very family and couple friendly, but do not expect the room you booked, we specifically paid for a room away from the pool with an ocean view, however they “upgraded” us to a room right above the pool and nothing could be done as they considered this an upgrade. Staff were absolutely lovely and willing to help.'

'The place is perfect, we stayed here for a mini honeymoon and absolutely loved the place. Stunning and beautiful. Only issue we had is that to get the hot tub hot enough you have to turn on the jets and past a certain hour the neighbor will come over and kindly ask you to turn it off. If you could heat it without the jet sounds ?'
