'Great property, great ocean views. '

'1The location of property was great with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Beach was within walking distance as were Dukes restaurant and Skinny Mikes with great shaved ice and ice cream. The place is basic, no bells or whistles, but it was very pleasant and was clean, beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price.'

'Awesome place, we had the best time. The house was very open, spacious with great views right across from one of the best beaches in Kauai. Highly, highly recommended this place. Pool, hot tub and all the amenities that you need. The hosts are extremely accommodating…we never used the AC just had the windows opened the whole time.'

'In a residential area of fine homes. It has a laid back feel to it. Close to everything I needed. Very quiet at night time. Owner nice and friendly. Would come back again.'

'House was nice and in a great location. There was construction going on at two of the neighbors properties that was a bit bothersome. We did have the maintenance worker show up and enter the property un announced which was not something i was happy with or prepared for. Notice would have been nice. I believe the purpose of the visit was to confirm the number of people we had there, although he fixed two minor issues that could have waited. The pool was fun. The AC blew cold and kept the house...

'Our host anticipated our every need. From the kitchen to the beach toys, we had everything we needed. The view was more majestic in person. The photos do not do it justice. The outdoor space was perfect. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the patio.'

'This resort is absolutely perfect! It’s right on one of my favorite beaches. Location is killer and the grounds are absolutely stunning. I did knock a star off of the cleanliness because I noticed some red makeup type stains on the tile underneath the cabinets in the master bathroom, but other than that, it was clean and perfect. We would definitely stay here again. '

'Poipu Kai is a great location when visiting Kauai. This home has three bedrooms which is great for 1-2 families. Plenty of beds, futons and porta-cribs for littles. Overhead fans but NO A/C which is a big drawback during summer months. It gets quite hot and takes a long time to cool down, especially if there's not much of an evening breeze. Would be helpful if there were black out curtains on all windows to keep the heat out and additional fans as the overhead fan in of the bedrooms was not very...

'We’ve stayed at a lot of properties and this one tops ‘em all. Great location, well maintained, well appointed, decorated flawlessly. So fun to go for body surf down the street then enjoy a cocktail on the lanai. We will be back! '
