The host was wonderful, giving plenty of details about access, amenities, etc. Everything you need in the apartment for cooking, washer/dryer, and even bear spray. 'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'Very nice old log cabin. Clean and well stocked, though by the listing we thought it was more by itself in the woods, instead next to apartments and across the street from several businesses. Otherwise is was very convenient to Exit Glacier, fishing, and the grocery store and downtown. We were very comfortable there, and even had a black bear sighting in our driveway one morning. Would recommend this cute old cabin.'

'My wife and I spent two days in Seward and used the Cabin as our base of operations. Lovely, open space with a loft style upstairs as a second sleeping space. Nice views from the upstairs windows. Well appointed property with excellent kitchen (which we used) and all the cookware plates, glasses, bowls, mugs... that you could ever want. Comfortable living room. About 7 minutes to Seward downtown, and 5 minute drive to grocery store. We received an unexpected communication from the host with...
