'The place was great and we had so much fun in Dingle. Would stay here again. Communication with manager was rough at first because they wanted to use WhatsApp and messages weren’t going through without internet. Would have preferred just using the VRBO app to communicate but it all ended well. '

'We recently stayed at this holiday cottage, and while the location was absolutely nice, the cottage itself fell short in several areas. Upon arrival, we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard, with noticeable dirt in various places.The bathrooms were moldy, moist, uncomfortable and outdated. Additionally, some of the lamps did not work, because bulbs were missing. Another concern was the presence of ants in the kitchen, which made meal preparation quite unpleasant. 'Herlihy’s Halfway House is the perfect little place for all your adventures in County Kerry. Host Marie’s delightful former family pub is a fantastic setting to come back to after a visit to Tralee, Killarney or a trip around the spectacular Ring of Kerry. Marie is simply the best host, making us so welcome, and her knowledge of the local community, culture and best spots is remarkable. We’ve loved our visit and will be back soon.'

'Great house, great views, loved the sheep. Only issue is house was described (and shown in map) as being very close to Tralee when in reality it is about 45 minutes from Tralee. That meant we faced a fair amount more driving than we expected. Otherwise, all was good.'

'My wife and I are touring Ireland for our birthdays and our 25th anniversary. We arrived to this wonder location and found champagne and chocolates waiting for us. The home has everything everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is great and the washer and dryer worked great! It was extremely clean, comfortable and well cared for. It is very private and quiet. Our stay was perfect, hopefully we will able to return here. '

'The stay was nice. There were some issues with the place, such as dirty towels on the bedroom hooks and some giant spiders, but nothing major! The instructions on taking the garbage out were not clear as to where to dispose of it, so that could be helpful. Also, if you accidentally lock your key in the apartment, we were told there was no spare. Luckily for us, it was as we were leaving and had left nothing inside. Otherwise, it was a great little spot. '
