Great budget condo in Kihei!
Great budget condo for an affordable trip to Hawaii. Had everything we needed. The air conditioning and the 2 ceiling fans were amazing we were always nice and cool.

Older condo complex with beautiful grounds and mature trees. Unfortunately, this particular unit had a number of issues. Apart from questionable cleanliness and temperamental stove, shower did not work properly through entire stay. Plumber came on the last day (yay!) and water was shot off at 10am. Owner unhelpful and unsympathetic.

Walk across the street to the beach. Well stocked with beach items. Would appreciate not having to pick and fold the towels from the dryer upon arrival. Ad shows $95 but was charged $110.

Cosy little beach house
We got to stay in this lovely little suite for a couple of nights. The owner obviously really cares for the place as there are lots of little thoughtful inclusions throughout. The unit has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of linens and towels and all the beach gear you need. The owner is friendly and helpful. I am giving four stars instead of five for two reasons. One is that I think the property management company isn't looking after the place as the owner would want and I have privately let the owner know that. Two is that the arrangement at this property is for the outgoing guest do the laundry upon departure which left me wondering about quality control on the laundry.

Cute condo in great location
We loved this studio condo. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The Murphy bed was quite comfortable and there was room in the closet to unpack all our clothes. The kitchen had ample dishes etc and we loved the washer/dryer in the unit. The balcony had great sun throughout the day. Location is perfect - across from the beach and close to restaurants and little shops. George was great to deal with and very responsive to any concerns/issues.

Lovely place that suits all needs
Amazing place to stay. So close to one of my favorite beaches (kamaole sands beach #2). Many other beaches are within walking distance. Located close by anything you possibly need (general store, rentals place, foodland, etc.) The room is fully equipt with a washer and dryer, fridge, beach chairs, snorkels, etc. Everyone in the apartment buildings are so lovely and I had yet to meet someone rude. One of my favorite parts is you get access to a private pool to swim or just relax in the sun and tan. Overall my trip was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

A great stay.
Kihei Akahi is a great place, close to all amenities, great beach across the street. The complex is well maintained with beautiful grounds. The condo is conveniently located, the bed, furnishings etc all very comfortable, lots of dishes, cutlery etc. We enjoyed our time here. The screen on lanai door needs repair, otherwise condo is in decent repair.

TOO SMALL - DIRTY - CRAP BED ON TWO SPINDLES OVERALL VERY DISSATISFIED WOULD NOT GO AGAIN
It was small and dirty, fans were coated with dirt, beds were dreadful. Wires and plugs in the draws where clothes should be put, you couldn't turn around in the kitchen, the fridge door was painted, old cupboards and handles, no decent chairs to sit on, only stayed three nights, couldn't wait to get out, We were disgusted and will never go there again and will tell friends not to go. What a total rip off of our precious money and time: Not happy. needs fixing

Great Kihei Location for the Price
We stayed at this Kihei Akahi condo for 5 nights in late January 2017 and were very satisfied with the accommodations. The condo is well outfitted for beach activities and cooking (if that is your desire) and the location is directly across from Kamaole II beach. Although there is no view from the condo lanai, it is a quick walk to the beach and the unit itself is very quiet. If you are looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation for 2 in Kihei, this could be for you.

Cozy condo...
We have stayed in this area for many years now and didn't spend too much time in this condo as we were in between wait times for our own condo. It was cozy and comfortable for our needs. It needs some updating and the only down side is that it faces the parking lot so there is some noise from people and vehicles.

Convenient location, simple and economic condo
This condo is located very conveniently right across from Kamaole Beach Park II, though is it a bit of a walk down the driveway to get there. It is a great beach and other equally great beaches are easily accessed. This unit does not have a ocean view but the lanai get nice sun throughout the day. The kitchen is well-equipped which helped a lot with expenses. There are good restaurants and stores near-by. It is a smaller studio with a murphy bed but is comfortable. It has 2 TVs but they neither is very large. It was nice to have the option to watch some movies at night. The washer and dryer were very handy. It is a basic but clean place. Check in/out was pretty painless and straight-forward. This was a nice area and a very reasonably priced place to stay. It was a very nice part of our trip.

Great location, nice view of Haleakala from the Lanai. Easy to walk to food, coffee and cinnamon rolls! Perfect size for us. Only down side was the amount of stuff in the small unit - we had to rearrange some things to find room for our stuff in drawers. Nice common areas with bbq and pool!

Quaint Suite the Perfect Walk from the Beach
(+) This bachelor suite is adorable. It's far enough from the main road that it's quiet at night, but still only a 5 min walk to the beach. The suite itself is clean and organized, with lots of storage space to unpack your luggage. A washer/dryer set come in more handy than you'd think, so having your own in the suite is amazing. Full kitchen (sans dishwasher), and barbecues at both of the pools. This place is a home away from home. Would definitely recommend to friends and would return myself. We only had one issue (the toilet flush system was weak) and it was fixed the next morning (although they did offer to have someone fix that night!). (-) The only thing I wish we had in the suite was some cleaning stuff to wipe down counters (Lysol wipes/spray).
