'Wij verbleven voor de tweede keer in deze super engelse cottage. Het staat op een perfecte locatie in het midden van het dorp Hawes. Alle shops en pubs binnen handbereik. Hawes is een ideaal startpunt om de Dales te verkennen. De cottage is zeer compleet en superschoon. Het voelt als een home away from home. Denk wel om alle trappen, hierdoor niet voor iedereen geschikt.'

'My wife and I had a lovely stay in Crooksland, despite the weather. There were ample opportunities for walks in the Lake district and we also loved visiting Blackpool on a sunny day. The only things we had not really expected were that the cottage is really small and does not have a nice view. You only see the table and chairs in the garden and your car.'

'There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. Cracked and rocking tiles throughout downstairs. The oven was dirty. Despite the listing stating there was wi-fi an instruction on the table stated there was not.
