'This was a dream vacation. My husband and I enjoyed staying in the villas and having access to the amenities of the entire resort. It was so peaceful, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. 'We had a good stay at the Point. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and big enough. There is everything you need. The furniture looks outdated, but it have it's charms. The resort looks great and we enjoyed the pool. The kids loved it. The drinks at the pool are good and affordable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is central to visit al the known tourist sites.We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this resort.'
'We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. 'There is no central or split/window air conditioning in the rooms. They do provide a cheap floor standing portable AC unit only in the bedroom. Since it is tropical rainforest weather , the rooms stay pretty warm without air-conditioning. We had to request additional pedestal fans to keep us cooler in living area .
The condo was not well maintained , creaky door hinges , a super noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom with no separate switch which has to be on if the light is on , no blackout...
