'This is an old property that is a great retreat in spite of it's foibles. Three years ago when I stayed he my concern was the safety of the neighborhood. There has been a remarkable change for the better. For the price you can't beat it. The staff is wonderful. '

'The hotel was wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean and comfortable although the heater didn't throw out enough heat to take the chill out of the air. Fyi there was not a tv but we didn't miss it. There is also a hot tub but we didnt use it.'

'The rains definitely started to fall two days into our 3 day visit to Hilo and we desired to move from our relatively off-grid Hipcamp (which we loved!) into an actual hotel room with amenities. Awesome tropical vibe will make you feel like you are in another country. Be sure to book room #103 for the view outside your window which is an entire wall of glass yet very private..
