'The area is safe plus the B&B is within a locked gate. There is only a glass door on the entry however there is a shade to draw for privacy. Beds were tolerable but not great. Very clean and convenient to everything. Host is great and allowed us to leave bags on property until check in. Neighbors (right outside of gate) were very loud until early morning hours often revving motorcycle in the alley. All in all I do recommend.'

'Lovely and spacious apartment in the historical part of the city. The street can be noisy during the night as there are several restaurants below the property. But it didn’t bother us. Kitchen could do with slightly more mugs and wine glasses. Kitchen tea towel was not provided to our surprise. We would definitely stay again! '

The most frustrating part of our stay was being locked out of the apartment for several hours in the heat with no assistance from the property. The door has a lock that requires some specific “tricks” to open, which we were not aware of. We ended up stuck in the corridor, which was extremely hot and had almost no airflow, for hours. 'Only issue was dealing with garbage. The house manual said we should take out different types of recyclable garbage on different days as there would be a garbage can for that type of garbage on the street. But the garbage can was always locked. There were no garbage cans in the kitchen. It seems like this is a problem everywhere in Palermo...dealing with garbage that is. '
