'As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. 'We enjoy the area and boating in the bay and on the ocean side. The restaurants are good and we generally take a day down at Virginia Beach/Back Bay and a day up at Chincoteague/Assateague. They week we managed four solid days on the water. '

'The home and location are very nice and as described. The reason I am ranking only 3-stars is because the house was very hot when we arrived. We turned the AC to 71 degrees, yet the WYZE thermostat kept remotely changing to 79 degrees. It was about 95 degrees outside, so we couldn’t find any relief from the heat.
