'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). 'Jardin del Mar exceeded my expectations. The property is beautifully landscaped with both small and large patios in several areas. The room (Delphin) was clean, well maintained and equipped with all of the basic amenities needed for our stay. First and foremost was the view! The property is right on the beach. 'First of all, this is not oceanfront, as the name implies. It is a 5-10 minute walk down a hill past construction to the beach club, which is at the beach. That being said, there is a large, lovely pool just downstairs and we didn't even go down to the beach club every day. There are ocean views from the balcony, but it is a good distance away. 'We all had a wonderful time during our 1-week stay at Villa Turquesa! The view, pool, and living space were just what we were looking for and having the chef prepare breakfast and dinner daily was such a treat!
