Strandhotels in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle

'Booked for a family of 4 in Feb 2025. This is a really unique hotel because it is not a beachfront hotel, rather it is a mountain/hillside hotel. This hotel is about a 25 minute ride from the PVR airport. Unfortunately we were a group of 7 people and paid 120USD from the airport to the hotel, then going back from the hotel to the airport we paid 55USD. We were not aware of an airport shuttle being available. Stayed in a room in tower 5 then changed to a room in tower 3. The resort is entirely...

'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). The breakfast restaurant is much nice and has better food. For lunch yo better head to the beach...

'Had a great stay at this beautiful property. The room, the view, the pool and the grounds were all splendid. The staff, especially Mario, were all very friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk on the beach into town. We hope to stay again in the future, and would highly recommend it especially for those looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.'

'First impressions are everything and this place had it in spades. From the welcome by Manuel and Rosa on-site hosts to the phone call from Elza the owner welcoming us and sending a bottle of wine to our room. This really cool Mexican B&B was special. The view was spectacular and our room was fantastic, it is actually a suite.You do really need a car though if you have walking issues as it is up a steep hill to the property, but the view as a result is worth it. Rosa cooks a fabulous breakfast...

'It is a great place near to marina and central plaza, for restaurants and walk to marina, studio equiped with enough things to make comfortable stay, bad thing it's next to construction so it's noisy and also behind some restaurant bar so music stay till 11-12pm aprox plus app on tv to watch movies it's really slow. Very good cleaning and spaces are large, good decoration and always people around in case you need something, have pleasent stay the only thing did not like that check in was till...

'Brand new lovely modern 4 unit studio apartment building in a quiet location. Hosts were attentive and charming. Unit had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan but also had the extra bonus of a lovely sea breeze. Outfitted with a stove top, baker oven and new fridge. Easy walk to town or marina in minutes. Would definitely stay there the next time and highly recommend it.'
