'We wanted to feel like the locals so loved staying at the Bruner's cottage. The cottage was clean and light. Best sleep I've had in a while - bed was comfortable. The Bruners made sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating (including fresh papaya picked by their son) and loved being greeted each day by Huckelberry. If we ever come back to Hawaii and need a place to stay, we are definitely booking this cottage. '

'I've stayed in the Kailua are on previous trips to Hawaii and the location of this property is unbeatable if quick, easy access to the beach is what you want. 'This little house is right on the beautiful beaches of the North Shore. A great way to start and end our days! Also a great base location for everything! 'The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now...

'This was a lovely rustic little house. We loved that it was so close to everything in Laie, so we didn’t need to spend hours in the car. The host gave excellent directions for finding the house, which is helpful, since it is on a country road. Bed was comfortable. Great shower. Wake to the birds singing every morning.
