'I have it 5 stars simply because it accommodates myself with my little family and pooch perfectly. We all had a bed. A working aircon and fridge. It was a great spot to break our journey from Darwin to Bundaberg and to settle my pooch and grand daughter for the night. Check in was easy as I phoned ahead. Thank you so much. '

'Situated right in the heart of amazing Winton. My 5th trip and never tire of this place. The grand old lady is indeed old, however was clean, convenient and friendly. Disappointments were the lift wasn't working meaning we couldn't unpack the car fully, also the ever present sulphur smell seemed to be stronger this visit'

'The room was large and very comfortable room, while a little dated in places. The room opened out onto a wide veranda that was shared by other rooms. The balcony had a few tables and chairs that I suspect hadn't been cleaned for a while as there were buckets of empty drink bottles. The staff were really friendly. Easy to reach the centre of town as it is on the main street'
