Het stadshuis met 3 bedden en 2. 5 badkamers ligt op slechts enkele minuten van Mirror Lake, Lake Placid en McKenzie Mountain Wilderness. Kom in de winter, schakel over naar skidagen in Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort! Maar ongeacht het seizoen, geniet u van directe toegang tot de winkels, restaurants en brouwerijen van Lake Placid.

Twee woonruimtes, beide met een grote flatscreen-tv met kabelaansluiting, zorgen ervoor dat u comfortabel kunt ontspannen terwijl de slaapkamers en de slaapsofa in de woonkamer voldoende slaapplaatsen bieden.

Tem de groeiende honger van iedereen met een stevig feest dat gemakkelijk kan worden bereid in de volledig uitgeruste keuken. Moderne apparaten en voldoende aanrechtruimte maken het bereiden van een maaltijd een koud kunstje. Ga aan de rustieke eettafel zitten en geniet van uw culinaire creaties!

Begin en eindig elke dag met een frisse neus op het privébalkon. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van koffie in de ochtend en een slaapmutsje 's avonds! Liever de binnen? Kruip voor de gashaard met een nieuwe roman in de hand.

Wat eerst doen? Ga zonnebaden op het openbare strand van Mirror Lake of spring aan boord van de Lake Placid Boat Tours? U bevindt zich op enkele minuten van alles in het Lake Placid-gebied, dus de keuze is geheel aan u.

Extra zomerse activiteiten zijn onder meer wandelingen door de Sentinel Range en McKenzie Mountain Wilderness. Als dat te avontuurlijk klinkt, maak dan een ontspannen wandeling langs het 3,2 km lange stenen pad van Mirror Lake. U kunt golfen bij de Lake Placid Club of de High Falls Gorge bewonderen, met loopbruggen met glazen vloer!

Wanneer de winter toeslaat, ga dan slechts 9 mijl naar het noorden naar Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort! Alpineskiën is niet jouw voordeel? This was a great location. The house was clean and quiet. We had a family of 5 (parents and 3 teens) and we had plenty of space to spread out comfortably. The property manager (Wayne) was very responsive throughout our stay. It is close to the main part of town and there is ample parking. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet and convenient location!
My family of 4 stayed at this property the week of July 8-15th. The townhouse is located in a very quiet neighborhood, which is close to downtown. The drive to Main Street only takes about 5 minutes. The beds were very comfortable and the window air conditioners did a great job keeping the house cool. The property has 2 dedicated parking spaces, which are located directly in front of the house, making it easy to unload and load your vehicle. There is an app you can download to lock and unlock the front door which was very convenient. This was our first visit to the area. We visited all of the Olympic venues, High Falls Gorge and Ausable Chasm. We also rented a pontoon boat to explore Lake Placid. The boat rental was a bit pricey, but a cool experience that everyone seemed to enjoy. The lakes, rivers, mountains and waterfalls in the area are breathtaking. If you visit the area, I highly recommend the following restaurants... Lisa G's, Wiseguys, Redenck Bistro, La Bella Ristorante and the Red Fox Restaurant. Tim B.

The cleanliness was as poor as the management
We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. There was an overwhelming stale, smoke-tinged odor as soon as we entered. The entire main level smelled like this. The kitchen table was sticky with visible soda ring marks, the chairs were all stained and dirty, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, and someone else’s dirty towels were in the washing machine. I notified the property manager, Wayne, about this, and initially he was helpful. He offered to send a cleaning crew that night, which I appreciated. However, I was traveling with my 75 year old mother who was exhausted from traveling, so I requested they come in the morning instead of that night. From there, everything went downhill. Wayne became defensive, accusatory, unprofessional, and quite frankly he made me feel uncomfortable. He more or less accused me of lying (even though I had pictures of all this) and said he took my complaints personally, which I found ironic since he admitted he hasn’t actually been to the unit himself in 4-5 months. In all my years if traveling and renting through Vrbo, I have never had an experience like this. The two stars are for the location and spaciousness of the unit, however, that wouldn’t be enough for me to stay here again.

Perfect condo in Lake Placid NY
Just steps to downtown, a short ride to Whiteface and easy access to many nordic ski trails, this well-appointed condo is a perfect home for a family or two couples. The upstairs/downstairs provides privacy, and the living area is generous and comfy. Wayne was a most gracious host and we deeply appreciated the opportunity to have a stay in his home.

Excellent Accommodation in Lake Placid
We loved how spacious, clean and well-appointed the condo was. We were able to cook meals (both inside and on the grill) and all gather together in the living room for conversation and movies at night. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying our coffee in the mornings. Communication with the owner was exceptional and he checked in with us a couple of times. The location was quiet yet close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. This was a real plus because Main Street was under construction and driving there was difficult. The location in Lake Placid is also central to many beautiful places within easy driving distances for kayaking, hiking and historic sites. We had one minor complaint: the weather became especially warm on a couple of evenings and the window unit air conditioners pictured on VRBO had not yet been installed for the season. One member of our group had trouble sleeping those nights, but the rest of us were comfortable enough with the ceiling fans and windows open. Overall, we’d stay here again if we came back to Lake Placid.

Our 2nd trip to this condo and we love it!
This is our 2nd time renting this condo. We enjoy the location and proximity to Lake Placid town and only a 20 minute drive the Whiteface. Wayne makes it very easy to check-in using a special app. He communicates very quickly and is prompt with getting the issue resolved. I have been renting homes listed on VRBO since 2000 and I have to say, this is one of the better condo's in the development for the size of our family. King and Queen beds have memory phone mattresses which are extremely comfortable. Showers are all up to date and clean. Thank you Wayne for addressing the minor issues we had over the weekend. We will be coming back next year!

Great house, great location!
This townhouse was perfect for our family of 5. We all had enough space and privacy. The townhouse was clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the deck. It is close to Main Street Lake Placid, hiking, Olympic sites, and Mirror Lake. Good restaurants close by. We had a great week, and will be back.

Perfect location to be able to walk or 5 minute ride into town of Lake Placid and 15 minutes to Whiteface. Great Condo!
Upon arrival, entry to the unit worked with no issues. We were able to have an early check in thanks to Haydee. The condo was exactly like the pictures. Clean & spacious. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals. The master bedroom had a memory foam mattress which was very comfortable. The bedrooms were all very spacious. Bathrooms where all up to date and modern. Washer and Dryer came in handy. We have stayed in this development many times in different units. This unit was the most updated unit we have stayed in. Girls weekend away
For a girls weekend away we couldn’t have picked a better place. It was very spacious, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen area was nice and spacious for us to hang out in as well. The area is nice and close to the village, you can walk or drive there. We would definitely stay again.
