'The place was amazing. It was a little difficult to find at first. I didnt see any address numbers on the outside of the cottage. The view was amazing, the actual cottage was stunning, clean, and looked even better in person than in the photos.'

The pups had a blast in the snow. I will definitely be back to experience a summer getaway. Rosie’s communication was great and she was ten steps ahead of everything needed for snowstorm. '

'I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. '

'Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. 'Stay met our goal of easy access to Elk Mountain Skiing. More dated than anticipated with an eclectic collection of towels, dishes, coffee cups. Price very reasonable. '

'Lovely, immaculate home with great attention to detail! Gorgeous surroundings with ALL of the comforts of home. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna tremendously and even spun some vinyls. Saundra was an awesome hostess with prompt communications. She left easily understandable directions for everything…from use of the house to recommendations for local things to do, restaurants, etc.! 'We booked this property to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday, as we were going on a ski/snowboarding trip to Elk Mountain. The game room was a key reason for choosing this rental, but we couldn't use it at all due to severe heating issues. The wall & floor heating units did not work in the game room or the downstairs bedrooms, leaving everyone who slept downstairs freezing. The game room was so cold that no one could stay in there for more than a minute. When we contacted the host, they...

'Really a spectacular place to stay, beautiful and peaceful, comfortable and well-maintained. Hosts very responsive, even stopped by with a delicious apple pie and new cords for the internet! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. '

Eenvoudig maar schoon en compleet.

"Een eenvoudig hotel, gedateerd ook. Maar de prijs is navenant, dus dat kun je verwachten. Het was goed schoon. De bedden waren goed. Parkeerplek genoeg. Er was een magnetron, koffiezetapparaat en koelkast op de kamer. Een extra tafeltje met twee stoelen ook. Wij waren eerlijk gezegd aangenaam verrast gezien de lage prijs. In de omgeving verschillende restaurants. Wij zijn naar een bbq restaurant geweest ongeveer 2 km verderop waar we echt uitstekend gegeten hebben. Er is ook een supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat. "
