'We loved our trip to St Ives. The cottage was great for us, as a family of 3. I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. We dound the knives in the kitchen very blunt, which did make cooking a bit difficult, but that was our only minor complaint. Lisa was on hand with support when needed, which was...

'We had a fantastic week at Star Gazy. The cottage was spacious, light, bright, clean and so well equipped! Location is in a really quiet street but still only a 2 minute walk to Porthmeor beach. We loved wandering down at night and watching the sunset. Outside tap so useful for washing wetsuits. Car park a bonus. We would definitely return. '

'5 star! Stayed for a week at Gardenside and happy to say it was all brand new and so luxurious. The house has 2 luxurious bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs that added extra privacy sharing with my extended family. Literally views that blow your mind. Goed voor een nacht.

"Beetje vergane glorie, de foto’s zien er veel beter uit dan in werkelijkheid. Men heeft geprobeerd om nog iets van de jaren 70 stijl te verbloemen. Schilderwerk was allang niet zo mooi als op de foto’s. Wij reisde met onze hond. Deze kan je alleen fatsoenlijk op het strand uitlaten, maar dat mag tussen 18:00 en 10:00. Personeel leek ook continu geïrriteerd. Geen fijne sfeer in het hotel. Het dorp en de stranden zijn trouwens wel fantastisch."

Friendly and comfortable hotel with excellent food

"We took a bad start as the property was without electricity when we arrived (a problem of the whole area) but after that was solved, everything in our stay was perfect; The host gives us friendly service of breakfast and the restaurant was FABULOUS, with nice wines and excellent food. I had lobster and enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is pleasant to sit in with a good beer, they have several good beers on tap. I would stay again."
