'The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. 'It was POURING rain the whole time, which gave us a different way of seeing things! Totally romantic and cozy, and talk about zero people on the lake. All the amenities were there and we cooked dinner every night. It'd be nice to go back when it's sunnier for a different outlook.'

'I’m obsessed with how cute and lovely this stay was, we really felt spoiled by Valerie! The house was well designed, spotless, and even had a fridge fully stocked with yogurt and almond milk and delicious granola. Valerie and her beau were absolutely lovely and it was a pleasure to meet them! Great location, walking distance into town. Can’t recommend this place enough! '

'We gathered as a family of 11 for Christmas get together. The house was festive and adorned with full size Christmas tree and hot chocolate platter. There was plenty of comfortable space for all. Kitchen was well appointed. Even though we had rainy weather we were able to enjoy the beach, hot tub and outdoor areas. The host responded immediately to any inquiry we had! 'Nice little house, good for a couple or small family. Great view of the lake in the back yard.'

'Overall I was quite impressed. The view and the location on the water is exceptional. The only negatives is the road from the main road. It's not very long, and it is drivable, but it is very disconcerting. The only other issue is there's three levels so you're going up and down quite a few stairs, stairs and no bathroom on the main level'

'Getting in the property couldn't have been easier. Once inside we loved everything about the house. It was the last house on the lane and was right up against Clear Lake itself,, with it's own boat (fishing) dock. All of the bedrooms were nicely appointed with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The Great room had views of the lake that were beautiful. There were games to play and plenty of comfortable seating to watch the Super Bowl. The kitchen was large enough that you did not feel...

'Lovely well stocked house. Access to the water via a play dock where we could launch our own kayaks.Very pretty and peaceful over thanksgiving. With a well stocked kitchen for preparing thanksgiving dinner.We also managed to get door dash from a few restaurants which was great.'

'We loved stay at this Log cabin. Cabin is well equipped and fully functional. It has many games, TV, professional kitchen and a massage chair. View is breath taking. Property manager/Owner is very prompt in reply and accommodated all our requests. We loved our stay in the property and hopefully we will visit again.'

'My spouse and I wanted to stay in this area to stargaze with our basic telescope. The cottage has a beautiful view of the sky. A couple of bowls in the cupboard has been put away without being cleaned first, but our stay was otherwise great. Nicole was very responsive and kind.'

'Loved the view. It was a great location perfect for star gazing. The only issue I found during my stay was that the bathroom used to be very cold in night and morning. And the bathroom heater didn’t work. Apart from that everything else was perfect.'

'Newly Renovated home, store conveniently 2-3 mins away, great views of the lake from the house. Private dock for fishing, dock was a bit scary with no guards so beautiful with little ones, fishing game did come check on us but he was just doing his job. The cleaners could do a better job at dusting all the cobwebs around the windows panes, floors wasn't clean but overall house is recommended. '

'Very nice house with everything you could possibly want. Lots of room, great kitchen and the pool was especially welcoming on the record 105 degree day. Loved how clean everything was. We come down every year. Next year we will plan an extra day or two just to relax and enjoy this very private retreat '

'My partner and I loved this place! Came here just for the weekend and wished we could stay longer. The property is beautiful and unique, and it was a treat to see all the animals and friendly dog. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice getaway!'

'Our family of 16 enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. The large family room was great for our all-family Sunday morning "church" gathering, the two kitchens were awesome - 1 for coffee and toast, the larger for cooking everything else and 2 refrigerators - and plenty of cabinets and counter space, really nice bathrooms with lots of hooks, lovely bedrooms. The spa was a hit!'
