'Had a great stay in Tayac. A few downsides are the short beds for most Europeans and the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (only an issue when it is 35 degrees for multiple days in a row), but the rooms 2 were spacious enough for 6 people. All in all a great stay with a spacious garden for our dog or to lie under a tree to get some shade. Also a spacious ground floor with almost all necessary facilities. Location is between the vineyards of the Bordeaux region. Bordeaux is within an hour...

'Heerlijk verblijf, mooi verzorgd huis, mooi domein en perfecte uitvalsbasis voor vele mooie uitstappen. Het huis is zeer goed uitgerust van alle gemakken en alles is voorhanden, het domein goed onderhouden en alles netjes en proper. De host is een supervriendelijke, joviale dame, die steeds ter beschikking is bij vragen. Wij hadden een heerlijke vakantie in Saint Vincent en komen graag terug!'

'Séjour familial à 10 pour deux jours. Le gîte ne servait qu'à notre hébergement. Gîte très propre mais franchement vétuste qui aurait tout intérêt à être rénové,mieux isolé. Nous avons eu froid la journée, le soir, la nuit... Vraiment très froid même si nous gardions nos écharpes et nos gros pulls.. Deux salles de bain sont à refaire à neuf et une colonne de douche n'est plus fixée au mur et pour surajouter une difficulté pour prendre votre douche, une étagère en verre risque au moindre...

'We enjoyed ou holiday at this fabulous family farmhouse in the Charente region very much. All utilities and attributes provided as announced, and even more. Excellent Pool accommodation with poolhouse and secured for children by hedges. '

'House was in a lovely location. Garden was rustic beautiful sound of frogs in the evening. House comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Owner was helpful to accommodate a later check out. Shame half a toilet roll, and no soap provided. Would rather have had these basics than the local bottle of wine! Especially as had just stayed at another place with the basics including toilet paper soap and cleaning products in addition salt and coffee being provided.'

'we had a lovely stay in this cottage, it's in a quiet location but very near a good restaurant. The host couldn't be friendlier, we had everything we needed (the drier for the laundry was a nice plus). Bergerac, Bordeaux, Perigeux etc are all in easy range, the view of the vineyards amazing. A lovely house in a superb area to spend your holiday. '

'We had a great stay in this beautiful and neat house. The owner was living on the groundfloor and always friendly and helpful. Big plus: the pool. The house was quietly situated, but everything (shops and restaurant) was only a couple of minutes drive.'

'We were very warmly welcomed by owner Sandrine with some fruit from the garden and three delicious bottles of wine from the own winery. During our stay, Sandrine regularly checked whether everything was as desired. If we had any questions, she was easy to contact. 'Énorme problème avec cette maison: la distribution d'eau. Manque de pression, un seul point d'eau peut fonctionner simultanément! Si un robinet coule, si une chasse d'eau se remplit, pas de douches ! Grosse contrainte quand on est 8 personnes ! Aucune chaines TV françaises, toutes les notices dans la maison sont écrites en anglais Piscine sale à l'arrivée : de la mousse au fond que nous avons enlevée nous-mêmes. 1 lit double effondré et posé sur parpaing Même avec toute la bonne volonté du...

'Goed ingericht en schoon huis in een stille wijk en dicht bij grote supermarkt. In Libourne is het busvervoer gratis. Bij de receptie hebben ze de vertrektijden. Ook kregen we bij aankomst veel informatie over de streek. Prima bedden. Personeel erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een plek om terug te komen.'

Excellent stay

"We were with a group of 15 university friends from way back and we thoroughly enjoyed Thiery's accommodation. It was so well equipped that each of each could sleep in a separate bed and even so that the heavy snorers had a room to themselves. Thiery's tips on where to find the supermarket, baker, good but reasonably priced restaurants were very useful. And Myriam was an excllent host upon reception. We used the house to plan several day trips in about an hours drive distance. And it was great to relax at the pool, open fire or bbq upon return at the end of the day."
