'This was the most beautiful bed-and-breakfast I’ve ever been to. I had a standalone cottage and the room was super cozy clean and accessible. I would definitely recommend it. 'House of 1833 was the most unique B&B we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by Evan, who was simply delightful. Entering the home, at first glance when going inside, we were overwhelmed by the beautiful antiques and collections, the ornate decorations and the simple beauty of the stately home. After a lovely tour of the home Evan took us to our room - the "Ivy" room - which was lovely. It was a nice touch for an old home like this to have a TV in the room as some don't do...

'We had a GREAT time here!! Just beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed essentially. I was quite impressed with how comfortable we actually were. There was a temporary power outage but it didn’t last long and management not only delivered more wood to us but also gave it to us for free as we wanted to spend our time outdoors during the outage.
